Shipping & Delivery
All freight will be billed collect, unless other arrangements have been made. Packaging: An additional charge may be applied to each item at the discretion of Scott Thomas Shipping. Warranty: Scott Thomas guarantees its furniture to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for one year beginning at invoice date. Any noted defects occurring from manufacturing need to be reported immediately to the customer service department. Damage resulting from shipping and handling or misuse is not covered under this warranty. See limited warranty document for further explanation. Freight Inspection: All items are loaded onto the truck in good condition. Before taking possession of the merchandise, by signing the delivery receipt, inspect the goods and note on the delivery receipt if there is any concealed or open damage. It is your responsibility to make a claim with the carrier within 24 hrs of the delivery date. Scott Thomas is not liable for freight damage. After the truck line has been notified contact Scott Thomas Customer Service to determine the disposition of the unit. No credit deductions are given for repair or defective merchandise, and no merchandise can be returned to the factory without an approved return authorization (RA) number from Customer Service.
Returns & Replacements
All returns are subject to Scott Thomas approval and may result in a 15% restocking fee. Scott Thomas will only ship to an acceptable shipping receiving location. Any transfer of goods to and from a residence, are not the responsibility of Scott Thomas. Ordering
All orders are subject to acceptance by Scott Thomas. An acknowledgment will be sent for accepted orders stating terms of payment, estimated ship date, product description, and quantity. A minimum of $10,000 is required to open an account..

Pricing We reserve the right to change prices, delete, or add designs at any time without prior notice. Terms of payment A choice of payment methods may be authorized dependent upon credit application approval subject to credit history and credit score. Choices are, but not limited to, prepayment, FOB Ohio, and net 30 days upon credit approval. Some credit cards are accepted for prepayment, FOB, and deposits. Any past due account will receive a 1 1/2% monthly finance charge (18% per annum).
